Lance reminded us the National Board would be having their meeting in Seattle the latter part of August. Lance talked with Steve Norman regarding his sponsorship for the upcoming rally. Mr. Norman will be buying the trophies for the event.
It was suggested we put a notice in the Zundfolge reminding members to support merchants giving us club discounts, and remind members to show their membership card when asking for club discounts. It was also suggested we have members bring their card to club events so we can track their attendance. Joni will enter the information and Brad Davis will create a mini program for tracking members at events.
President’s Report:
Lance reminded us the reports need to be sent to National by March 31st. The financial statement is finished. We will be reimbursed from National for what was paid to K&K Insurance for track day.

Bill handed out the annual financial report. National wants the information from page 1 and page 2.

A Z3 tech session was suggested as a warm-up before the Concours at Auburn Foreign Car?? Possibly June 2nd? Karl offered to check into this.
It was suggested we have an annual “marque” event tech session on the car, which is the featured marque for the Concours.

Dale sent this report:
Concours:
Chris asked Karl to get a featured car for a poster, magnets, pictures, etc. Need to adjust “classes” for trophies. Bill S. and Bill L. will get together and discuss options.
Zundfolge:
Printing and postage costs are up but revenue from advertising is also up. Bill S. said we should determine what impact cost increases in printing costs the club as more members are added in sending out magazines. General expenses need to balance out, which they are at this time.
Roster/Membership:
We are adding 40/50 people per month. Good growth!
Banquet:
Bill S. reported a check for $1500 will be sent to PAWS. For future banquets the percentage amount given to a charity will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
(A charity coordinator is a possible topic for a strategy meeting for long term planning)
Track and Driving Schools:
Jacqueline reported the Instructor Clinic program was modified and a handbook made up. There were new hands-on teaching techniques. There was good feedback from participants. One accident happened. Helmet intercom information was provided to those interested. As we grow we need to change the rules for registering to keep it easy to handle the increase in participants.
