We purchased this 1994 BMW 325is red car in September 2002 from a high school friend of mine, who purchased the car new from BMW Bellevue back in ‘94. BMW Bellevue installed all of the M3 aerodynamic pieces. Car came totally loaded with traction control, heated seats, factory CD player, remote locks, etc. A pretty cushy ride compared to our beloved E30s.

When we bought the car, it only had 18k miles on the odometer, and had never seen the rain.

Before being sold originally, the car was used at BMW Bellevue as their display car leading up to the launch of the E36 M3. The car was sold with only 10 miles on it, so it was used as a static display of how the M3 would look once it arrived at the dealership. It originally had M3 wheels on it at the dealership when it was displayed.

Back in 1994, in the middle of a sea of normal E36s, this car would have looked pretty impressive. We think then that people would see the car, then put down a deposit to get in line for an E36 M3.

The original owner only drove it on sunny weekends, and the car sat in the garage with a car cover. The car came with E36 M3 wheels, however we have fitted 225-50-15 Bridgstone S-03s on the car to Borbet Type E wheels, as Stephanie does a lot of driving around Seattle side streets, and low profile tires don’t like bad streets.
