1973 2002 - Fjord Blue

I bought it in 1984 with 113k miles on it. I'm the second owner. 230k miles now - basically stock except:

· 38DGAS Carb
· Front urethane bushings
· Three core radiator
· Stainless-steel brake lines
· 320i alternator
· Cibie "Z-Beams" and driving lights
· E30 bottlecaps w/ Pirelli P6s
· Good stereo (tape and CD changer)
· Zender front spoiler

The engine was rebuilt (@ 180k in 1987) with 9.5 pistons. The transmission has NEVER been opened up (just topped off every decade or so). Still shifts nicely.

To do:

· tii distributor & Pertronix (igniter and coil)
· Rear suspension urethane (maybe... maybe rubber....)

Farther out:

· 5 speed, 3.90 LSD
· Battery to trunk
· New carpet
· Stuff the seats
· Paint
· Probably more ... :-)

Of every car I have ever owned... This is the only one that has never failed to get me where I'm going (I can't even say that about my brand new truck.....)
