Factory options were;
rear window defogger $41
MXAS tires $27
reclining seats $45 (I think this was a scam)
tinted glass $58
leatherette seats, another $45
metallic paint $175 (ceylon)
AM/FM radio $180
The car is pretty much stock with the
exception of the Recaro's and the wheels.
There has been a new carpet kit installed
and the engine has been gone over just
recently
and found to be quite strong.
I found this car under a tarp and belonging to
an
elderly customer. He said that he had got it
new
and drove it to work for many years. He said
that
it was the best car that he ever had (and he
was
a doctor). He told me that he had given the
car
to his son but that he had since died. He
drove
the car from Los Angeles to Whidbey Island in
1995 and when he got here he took it to a
local mechanic (bad idea). When he got it back
he noticed a gas smell and saw gas leak from
the injection pump. He shut it off and covered
it
with a tarp for 8 years. I asked if he would
sell it
and he said sure "tow it away". Which I gladly
did that same day!!
Oh yeah, the gas leak was caused by not
replacing
an O-ring.
